Oils such as Lavender and Chamomile are good for them. It may even be better to just use the oils in a diffuser, allowing the essential oils to evaporate and circulate throughout the baby's room. Some of the essential oils that you can use are: Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Neroli, Orange, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Roman Chamomile, Rose and Rosemary. Blend one drop each of Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lavender in a base oil and rub the chest and back. If your child is asthmatic, avoid the inhalation. It has been suggested that massage with certain essential oils may help to prevent asthma attacks from occurring frequently. One of the blends recommended for asthma is one drop each of Cypress, Lavender and Frankincense. Mix in a base oil and massage the back. For a toothache, either use a couple of drops of Chamomile or a mixture of Chamomile and Lavender and rub on the cheek. Make sure essential oils don't get in the eyes and the mouth ; .
